As a workaround change to the directory (cd ) where you want the VM to stored.
Use vmware-vdiskmanager to create a virtual disk
上記を参考に作ったが、V6形式のDiskのようで
V5互換のvmには接続できなかった。
The selected virtual disk is incompatible with this Workstation 5.x virtual machine.
Adding this disk will make this virtual machine incompatible with older VMware products
うーむ。
